This is what we call a target rich environment. I am sure that whatever I did to get into that situation seemed like a good idea at the time.

That's the Middle's QE2 wooden reviewing stand. It's built on a enclosed trailer. This is where their majesties and their highness keep their battlefield things at. If the thrones are at the battlefield they sit there as well.

Thursday was the busiest day of the war for me, and I now have for you over a thousand pictures from the Bridge, Belted, Unbelted, and Allied Champions battles here: http://ursus.smugmug.com/gallery/668173 ... 2203_Qoq9X

Hope you like them.

Thanks, as always, to all of you for providing such a wonderful photo op.

P.S. Friday (the Field battle) and several Atlantian events still remain on my "to do" list.

Thanks for the pics.

I like the "Where's Waldo?" wide shots.
Found three I know in this one.

And I have no answer to your question. I was watching him through a long range lens just wanting a "stride across the field" type shot, and then he breaks into this little dance. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course...

Did you catch this one, Nissan? That looked liked it hurt!

Nah... what's there to kill back here?
Still trying to figure out whose spear I had... My axe broke earlier in the fight, I had to fix it that night.
There are quite a few shots, long distance, of my bridge. It's pretty cool to watch the battle unfold like that.

That guy blasted me so hard my kids were born with bruises. Hehe. Seriously, whoever he is he is really, really fast.

That little chick with the shield saved my life a few times and the lives of some of my buddies. She was flying all over the field.

That is Killian ( I think her new name is Mina?) from Atenveldt. I had the honor and privlidge of fighting side by side with her for most of Pennsic.

I can truly say that I am three times the size that she is, but she is three times the warrior that I am.

Mina, huh? Someone who sees her in meatspace needs to tell her she has earned serious wordfame. I looked for her after the fight, but she was gone.

At long last, the final installment of Pennsic photos are now on my website:

http://ursus.smugmug.com/gallery/695614 ... 1310_bGsH2

There are about 240 some odd pics from the field battle there.

Thanks to all of you for your patience, and my apologies for taking so long to post them.

Here are a few samples:

You are most welcome, your Grace.

Ever since Duke Cuan pointed the two of you out to me at Gulf Wars, I have tried to keep an eye out for picture opportunities with both of you. My only regret is that I have yet to capture you together facing the camera, but I'll keep working on it. :)

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.
