My Pennsic was well worth the $.

Why?
It had comedy, drama, plot twists, glory, and nail-biting action.

:D

It was great making new friends, meeting people I only knew from the Internet, and seeing my friends from last year.

My days started at 7:30 with the trumpet of the Duke and ended in the late hours when dismissed from the Crown.

I'm going to sleep for 2 days.

You almost got that horn shoved up somewhere uncomfortable when you did it at 7am and the battle didn't start until 11am.....

I will never forget the ear-to-ear grin you sported as you approached the gallery at the Baronial Champions Tourney. Well met, and well spoken.

It's a very medieval moment to slide up next to a hero of another land and begin casual conversation while throwing blows against the foe.

Thanks for those D.

I liked the horn; it took revenge on the jackasses with the pirate boat banging that stinking gong late into the night. I think I am going to steal that damn thing next year.

Gong wasn't on the Ridden Moon... they had the bell. Gong was in the camp on the corner.
Ridden Moon did have a stripper pole though...

If i am king ever at Pennsic

I am issuing letters of mark for Tricorner hats, skull dew rags, that damn gong, the bell, eye patches, jlly rodger flags, hooks for hand, parrots ect ect ect.

And i'd pay $100 to anyone who brings me that stripper pole!!!

(Not cuz of the pirates i just love strippers :P )

It was fine when they walked around and behaved, now they're trying to mess with other peoples fun (crashing courtsand such)

Wish someone had told me that the Mid Court needed Protecting, i'm not from there and i was fighting for the other side, but i'd have rallied to that cauze in a heartbeat.

I killed him, but that wasn't really fair since we were fighting on the same side! We were both fighting for Serpentius, and after watching him charge into the ranks of the Mid Realm for a week, I asked to spar with him. He whacked me with sword and board and florentine before I called for mercy.

Pfft, we went about even. I'd love another rematch though, when we are both fresh. You should make a kite like the one I have, so Darius and Achillies can train you with it.
