Thanks.
If the gods are willing I hope to attend next pennsic. If the gods of the COTT are willing I would like to test myself there.
IF I don't have to add the COP then everything I hd planned on adding to my kit would make me a reasonable facsimile of that guy.

Johannes will be the Captain of the English for the next two years at Pennsic for the CotT.
I will be the Captain of the French for the same period.

He is not wearing a cop, hauberk and padded cote and surcote.
Splinted vams and greaves, padded cuisses, the polyene has 5 decorative hearts hanging from it and is secured to the cuisse via a row of rivits along the top and bottm edge and also with a wide leather strap.
Each vambrace has several narrow splints, each splint has a strong crease.
The greaves seem to have 3 narrow splints, again with a central crease.
The surcote has short split sleeves and there is a row of picidills around the neck opening of the maile shirt.
I can offer a fair amount of info on all 5 figgures, but I agreed not to publish or post the images.
It only cost about 20.00 to have the church mail me a cd with the images.
Realy worth it imho, the dimension and level of detail and variety of equipment is amazing.
