As a reminder, not bad most of your top picks were in the finial break down. Clearly Duke Mathias has that closing power he needed now.
Tourney winner
25-1 Herzog, Sir Mathias Von Leuwenburg- is a fantastic fighter, but since leaving Atenveldt just hasn't had the closing power that he had there. Maybe it will all come together for La Provadura. That would be cool to see.

"DA top pics for Prova this year"
Hi everyone, sorry this is so late. I am posting from a laptop, so this won't be as detailed as I would normally have hoped.
8-1 Duke, Sir Conor Weisszhan- without a doubt I think Conor is the best prepared to take this tourney. He is a dominating fighter. There look to be a few weaknesses in his defense, that I think a few of the foreign fighters like Edric or Eduard could take advantage of, but he looks great.
10-1 Sir Gemini, Rex Occidentalis- umm King of the West right now, and pretty cool dude all around. I think he has something to prove, and this is La Provadura.
12-1 Sultan Edric Khan, Crown of Caid- Edric is really good with a shield or with that madu thingy (yuck) that he likes to use. He is 6'5" and knows how to use his range to win. He has won 5 Caidan Crowns and is definitely in shape to be a force to contend with in this tournament. We will see how his Caidan ways match up against the Westies.
13-1 Sir Hauoc, Duke Bender- consistently finishes near the end of these top end tournaments. There is no reason to see why he would not do well in this one.
15-1 Ritter Brion, Landgraf von Bellatrix- Is fighting very well, btu seems to have issues closing Crown. Hopefully those issues will not arise here, and he will be able to win. Hopefully there will be a "but you are my father" joke along the way
18-1 Duke, Sir Fabian von Schwetzingen- A top level fighter. His movement is not as good as it once was, but he is still a spectacular fight, and like the others in this list does very well in top end tournies. I think we will see him in at least the quarters if not the semis or finals. I am not as sure about the win, though.
25-1 Herzog, Sir Mathias Von Leuwenburg- is a fantastic fighter, but since leaving Atenveldt just hasn't had the closing power that he had there. Maybe it will all come together for La Provadura. That would be cool to see.
33-1 Sir Paul, Duke of Bellatrix- umm not only does he have Paul of Bellatrix powers to call upon, but he does well in these tournies. I bet he will pull out some sort of new Boom Yow, and throw down some tight moves on these youngsters and kick some a$$.
40-1 Ritter Hans, Graf von Wolfholtz- did well in last Crown. I expect that he will be a force to contend with, although living out of Kingdoms has probably not helped his fighting level.
45-1 Sir Eduard, Krol Atenveldt- is doing very well in Atenveldt. I am unsure how he will match up in a Western tournament. I am very interested to see how he does.
55-1 Bahadur Freewind- my darkhorse choice, if this is who I think it is. I think this is Freewind, the dude with the tattoos. If so, he is crazy to watch, and is bada$$. I think the will certainly surprise some of the fighters, and end up doing quite well. He is DA's type of fighter! oh yeah except for that Madu...
60-1 Viscount Robert of Woodesende, KSCA Robert is solid, and we will see if he brings that to the field. That would be cool.
