Sword and Shield & Great Sword

Sir Kenrick and Sir Bearach were the other semi finalists

Duke Andreas defeated Sir Kenrick to reach the finals
Count Gryffith defeated Sir Bearach to reach the finals

It was as predicted wet, a bit on the cool side but no where near what we feared.
The fighting was from my vantage point excellent.

Congratulations to Sir Andreas on his win over Sir Gryffith.

Actually it sounds just a bit shy of the 60 odd we normally get. Of course that's way down from the 100+ fighter lists we had back in the mid to late '80s. The unbelt line went accross the lists field and started to wrap around. Made it hard for those on the end to hear when they were called to present themselves.

We have had 70+ in the past.

It wound up at 48 because of illnesses, conflicts and lousy weather.
