It was in conjunction with the cup shot. I was doubled over and the next shot was a wrap that took off a string of beads. They expressed concern about the beads being an eye hazard during inspection, so when it flew off they had seen enough. Its ok because it will get me working harder to get the hew helm started.

Now... a madu is an indian weapon. Basically a buckler with 2 metal tipped stag horns. My weapon represents a small shield with a butt spike on the bottom of the shaft. I only attack the face with the top of the shaft because it would not be able to defeat mail. And thanks to everyone for all the encouraging words.

You are welcome. You don't use the madu like most do. You used the rule to try to authentically replicate something from your persona's warrior elite culture and you use of the top only to the face recognizing a true madu would not work well against armour, is commendable.

Because you are not 'gaming the system', I don't have my usual arguments against their use.

You are a good sportsman and I give you tremendous credit for not using a madu the way most do, which is to game the system and win whether that usage makes sense or not.

Nice job.

I always feel bad when I cup someone accidentallly.

I'm horribly out of shape and it is taking a while to get my fighting up to snuff. My targetting is way off.

Yeah, I thought I got the leg, not the cup (as I wasn't looking down) so I had continued the offense without stopping, not realizing he was 'dead' and the beads went flying towards the other lists. I did not mean to strike an opponent with a late hit.

I think it's 1 point for a loose, and 2 points for a win or something in nature.
The loser reports the fight to the MoL table.
2 winners are decided: 1 Chiv and one non-chiv.

You mentioned a video. Is it online? I'm curious to see how I ended up hitting the cup. I'm glad you realized it was accidental, I hate it when that happens.

A fine Birka, though.

Federach got knighted? Very cool indeed. Tell him the big lug Hanko that moved down to Florida congratulates him.
