I've just completed a pair of Codex Wallerstein style targes, and they'll be available for use at the pas de la Belle Pelerine.

I had a great time fighting in this. I only wish I hadn't been rushed at the beginning (war points running late, and my wife needed to run off to teach a class).

Unfortunately, my three-year-old was tired, thirsty and done, or I'd have stayed to fight in the 3v3 over the barrier.

Thank you for hosting this pas, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Tournament of the Lily in northern Atlantia on November 14.

I want to thank those who hosted this event for doing so- this was my first Pennsic and the Pas was the most amazing part of an amazing week.

Again, thank you for hosting and thank you for the open invitation.

This was my most noble opponent for my individual bout. If anyone knows his name, I would appreciate that information. The Pas as at the end of a long, hot day, and I have forgotten it.

This Pas was most definitely one of the high points of my Pennsic. It was enjoyable hard fighting against noble and worthy opponents. The setting was beautiful and the music added the proper touch.

Enterprises such as these are what I enjoy most about the SCA.

I think this video might benefit from a bit of context. Earl Yngvar was able to rise very shortly after the video cuts out. At the time, I felt awful about what happened. As soon Earl Yngvar was able to pop his top, I went over to apologize. If my memory serves, he seemed in good spirits and reassured me that he was alright.

After I got home, I debated for a while about what I wanted to do with the video. I'm proud of the fight- not because I knocked someone down, but because I think it was a hard fight and I was happy with my performance. And my opponent was fine moments afterwards, so I figured no harm, no foul. However, before I did anything else, I sought and obtained permission from Earl Yngvar to post this video in a public forum, which he granted.

Wow..I can't believe someone actually got that block on film I fight great sword so..rarely, I expected to get tanked bad, and yet somehow, I always managed to get a bit of it in the way.

The event itself was amazingly fun for me...
