You harness is awesome, but it looks like it was captured by Vlad the Impaler. You may want to place a piece of fabric on the the post o the stand...

Good point (heh).

Bear with me; I just moved to a new and bigger house, just set up the armour at the new place for the first time, and am in the middle of some truly serious armour renovations. It will be a better display in a couple of months...

Armour is not that heavy or tiring (now if you wore it for a few days then it would get old) So I would chose full Maximilian plate a lance and a Mace and I would be on top of a fresh, fully barded and very grouchy destrier and I will sit on the sidelines with a bucket of beer and reach and wack people as they come by
Vive le Gens 'd arme!

Bet the armor was one of the first things moved. :D
Leave the SCA better than you found it. Fight alot of cool people along the way.

Only the weak are cruel. Gentleness can only be expected from the strong.

OK we have the climate/terrain issue answered.

Now what about the opposing force. Armor has little to do with what I'm doing and everything to do with what is going to be hitting me. If its 30 crossbowmen/longbowmen at 200 yards thats a little different than 30 disciplined spearmen in a shield wall, or 30 screaming savages with axes and clubs.
