Ok not your typical review.
A week ago Monday while fighting greatsword my right hand which is on the bottom of the sword slipped off as I was blocking. Instead of dropping my hand out of the way and taking the shot to the face....I pulled my hand so palm was facing me and wound up anviling my thumb on the edge of my great helm. (basically I flinched)
Sword hits gauntlet crushes thumb in between helm and gauntlet. Thumb swollen to 3 times normal size bone bruised, but NOT BROKEN. My Dr. said he had never seen such bad bruising and swelling without a bone being broken. Sorry no pictures wife has camera and on trip out of town.
I still can't quite open a pepsi bottle but THANKS SO VERY MUCH your Grace!
One more reason that Icefalcon's Gauntlets RULE!!
(single sword for the next couple of months but better than no fighting)
And for those that remember another thread...yes I took the arm and finished the fight one handed.
