D&D, Warhammer, Flames of War possibly FS

Post by talaananthes »

Hi all,

So I've got a bunch of old gaming stuff sitting around that I don't use anymore, and was wondering if anyone might be interested.

Some 2nd and 3rd edition D&D/AD&D books, mostly 3rd ed.

A ton of Warhammer fantasy soldiers and rulebooks, from 4th through 6th editions--I've got what are probably now vintage army and rule books for several races, plus models of what appear to still be the current style set plus some from the previous two style sets. I have a full, large army of high elves, a full, medium army of Chaos (mixed beastmen and warriors), a lot of Bretonians, a few Lizardmen. Also the Warhammer Fortress (it's a castle for fighting on, 5th ed era, dunno if they still make them or have seige rules, I can provide copies of the siege rules from those days that would probably still work with only minor modifications) assembled but unpainted.

Some leftover Warhammer 40k stuff including a few Space Marine and Chaos tanks and one SM dread and one of the Chaos spidery walker things whose name I can't remember, plus some random guys and a ton of spare heavy weapons (I have about a dozen unused pewter meltaguns, for example). Also some loyalist terminators, some of which are VERY old models.

American and German Flames of War (15mm WW2) guys. Full army of German mechanized infantry and tank/gun support, plus a good number of American infantry and some armour. This isn't as well known, but it's a great game, probably my favorite tabletop strategy game. I don't know if any of my rule or army books are still up to date. There are several other 15mm WW2 games that these guys would work fine for.

Feel free to pm me or post here with any inquiries about specific pieces you might need. None of the armies are fully painted, but there are several units from each that are, from very low to very high quality paint jobs.

I'll see if I can get a more comprehensive list up if there's interest.

I'll try and get an inventory of stuff tonight, haven't had a chance yet, but I'd definitely be interested in bartering.

If you've got the 3.5 playershandbook (published 2003), I'll take that off your hands, almost any condition.

Sorry, I stopped playing before 3.5. I have a 3.0 PHB, DMG, Epic Level Handbook, plus a number of class supplements, some of the forgotten realms stuff, and the siege campaign handbook.

I also have a good condition 2nd ed AD&D PHB and a near mint condition 2nd ed DMG.

What 40k stuff I do have is scattered remnants of an army that I sold. I have a Vindicator and a new-style plastic Dreadnaught, both assembled and in very good condition but unpainted, and some random marines and a TON of bits. Plus some Chaos guys that you don't seem interested in, including a Chaos Predator and a Defiler that's pretty well painted in Tzeentch colors.

Brets are a bunch of plastic knights of the realm, probably 30+ of them, plus a large number of archers (40 or 50 likely), probably 6 or 10, and about 16 or 20 metal men at arms with mixed halberds and spears. Plus the king guy on the griffen and a few other heroes, including on pegasus rider hero, a special character who was badass for killing big monsters in 5th edition and no longer exists.

Duke Icefalcon--

My Flames of War stuff seems to have gotten all jumbled up, looks like someone went moving it around and it's all mixed up, will get back to you about what I've got.

PM's have gone out to first interested parties about the Bretonians and the Flames of War stuff. No offers have been made or accepted yet, and nothing has been definitively spoken for--so it's pretty open as far as things go. I'll accept any reasonable offer, and would prefer to sell armies together for shipping simplicity, but Charles the Brown and Icefalcon have loose priority.

More info about Chaos and 40k stuff still to come.

Bretonians:

1 x metal king on metal Hippogriff

1 x metal hero on metal pegasus

1 x metal sorceress on plastic horse

3 x Bertrand the Brigand and crew metal figures, basically Bretonian Robin Hood, Little John, and Friar Tuck with a giant barrel of ale on his back . . . I don't know if they're still in the game

7 x metal grail knights including standard bearing on mixed plastic and metal horses (not sure about the id's anymore, 4 of these may be questing knights)

1 x metal knight of the realm standard bearer on plastic horse

15 x plastic knights of the realm including standard

4 x metal archers

30 x plastic archers

15 x metal men at arms with command guys mixed spears and halberds

Flames of War:

I'm still trying to sort out my FoW guys, the ones that never got assembled got rather mixed up, but here's a rundown of what I know I have and know where it is--the biggest problem right now seems to be with the gun crews. All is midwar stuff.

Armour:

2 x Panther, fairly well painted in three color steppe w/ airbrushed camo

2 x Pzkw III L/M w/ shielding, same colors

1 x Pzkw IV G/H w/ shielding, same colors

1 x Tiger, fairly well painted in panzer grey

2 x Stug w/ long 7.5 cm in panzer grey

3 x Pzkw IV w/ long 7.5, w/o shielding, two completely unpainted, one partially painted not very well in desert colors, you'll want to strip that one

6 x all metal Shermans, three assembled, three assembled but with all parts present and accounted for.

German Transport Vehicles:

6 x Sd kfz 251/1c Transport halftracks, 2 unpainted, 1 all metal base coated in an orangy tan color, 2 base coated white

2 x Sd Kfz 251/10c (3.7 cm) transport halftracks, 1 unpainted, 1 base coated white

4 x Sd Kfz 251/9c (7.5 cm) gun halftracks, unpainted, 1 all metal . . . the guns don't fit well into the resin halftrack bodies as they come, you'll have to modify they slightly to fit

1 x Sd Kfz 250/something radio halftrack, unpainted, w/ unassembled aerial

German Infantry and Guns:

18 x Panzergrenadiers squad bases, 12 painted, 6 unpainted

5 x Panzergrenadiers command bases, 4 painted, 1 unpainted

2 x 8.8 cm antiaircraft guns, unpainted, with crews accounted for

6 x PaK 40 7.5 cm antitank guns, but I can only find 3 of the bases and none of the crews

6 x 105 mm howitzers, unassembled, unpainted, without crews or bases

American Infantry and Guns (all unpainted):

18 x Infantry stands

4 x Command stands

1 x fancy command tent stand

3 x Bazookas

4 x metal trucks of uncertain model . . . maybe Ford 2.5 ton trucks?

6 x metal jeeps

6 x 57 mm antitank guns, no crews, no bases

There are a bunch more guys jumbled in together as well . . . what appear to be more American artillery spotters than you'll ever need, probably a couple platoons of American mortar crews without bases, bailed tank crews from both groups, two more infantry and two more command bases, plus just some more soldiers from both armies, maybe another bazooka or two, a small German antitank gun (recoilless rifle, maybe?) and mounted rocket launcher with a blunderbuss tip, a few German lmg squads, etc.

Without getting too number specific as I haven't counted and organized, here's generally what I have and am willing to sell for fantasy Chaos stuff:

2 x beastherds w/ mixed gors and ungors

Some metal gors and ungors

Some plastic gors with halberds

A full unit of metal bestigors, probably 2 boxes of 10 plus 3 command figures

Beastlord special character on chariot

A beast hero or two

At least one beast shaman

A few minotaurs

4 (maybe?) ogres

A giant

Probably some plastic and metal chaos warriors

Slaanesh Demon prince special character

Maybe a knight or two

A spawn

In case anyone plays Empire, I also have an Imperial great cannon with crew and a metal elector count looking guy in full armour on an armoured horse with a hawk on his wrist. I think he was a minor special character in 5th edition, but I liked the model.

6 Bretonnian knights of the realm and 10 archers sold, the rest are now unreserved, so let me know if you want a good sized force of Bretonnians.

It's an old 5th edition rulebook for how to run siege battles and campaigns. It's several rulesets out of date, and there were HUGE changes between 5th and 6th edition especially in terms of army organization, but if you had a castle (I have one I'd sell you), you could pretty easily adapt the principles in the book to the current ruleset . . . or at least I did so in 6th, I have no clue what version of the rules they're on to now.

If you were to buy the castle, I'll throw in the Siege book for free.

Send me a pm if you're interested.
