Cleaning out the garage I found two powder horns that I'd forgotten about that I used to use for my matchlock and handgonne, which I have sold in the past. I'm not sure about how much powder these hold. They are very unique and cool I might add. Check out the pics.

The circular one: $35 + $8 s/h.
6 inch diameter, 2.5 inches wide, center compartment for patches is 2.25 inch diameter

The rectangular one: $20 + $8 s/h
6 inches high, 6 inches across at base, 1.5 inches wide.

PM me if interested.

Thanks for thinking of me. BTW this is the newest pirate must have item:

A brass barreled blunderbuss pistol with a spring loaded bayonet. The video is worth watching.

Who made the horns?

Baron, the circular one was made by a friend of mine of mine, J. Henderson of Henderson Artifacts. He's very talented and can do anything. He not only does period pottery for a living, but has made cannons among other things.

The 2nd one came with the matchlock that I used to own, so I don't know the original maker.

Buying more powder flasks than I needed may have been a little serendipitous:

The powder horns came in yesterday and are just as shown.

Thank you for the extra slowmatch too. It suddenly came in very useful. :D

There is a lot more to this story but it will have to wait until I can manage to post pictures.
