looking for cast or forged bronze for WWII armor restoration

Post by Dwarlock »

My boss is restoring a WWII LVT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landing_Vehicle_Tracked

He is at about 90% completion and is expecting to have it at an event in a month. one problem he's found so far is with a couple of the original bronze pulleys, He's machined a couple from aluminum to get him to the event, but he would like to have everything done right on this.
What I wondering is can anyone here fabricate a bronze pulley about 2 inches wide and 6 inches across (we could certainly provide a sample to replicate)

Note I'm not asking for a free service money would be involved.

Send an "attn. Clint" and tell them Trace refered you. Might help,I used to work there. We did some fantastic bronzes,it truly is a magical metal. If you just need a couple pieces, you can mock them up in wax for a one time pour.Making a mold for repetitive peices is where it gets expensive.
Goodluck!
