I need to buy a nice outfit sometime before Tuesday evening, war week. I have something important to do and my current garb isn't up to the job. Not by a long shot.
It's gotta be fairly authentic, and fairly spiff. And cool - short or open sleeves would be nice. Loose so I can move about. 14th c. French or close to it.

That's Tuesday July 28th, a week before you need your new togs, Louis.
Depends on what/how much you want to spend, Louis.
Historic Enterprises has many nice pieces to fit that time frame. And there are a few others that have nice/decent 14th C stuff, I just can't bring them to mind.
Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. Churchill, 1941

We open Thursday July 30 at Noon. We're on the Street of Dreams, #35 off the uphill end of the Barn.
FYI, we are across the board generally cheaper than certain competitors of similar merchandise.
I have my first formal squire-ish thing to do and I don't want to look like Alaric's swamp-rat rennie squire.
Jeff, I had planned on making your shop my very first stop. Thanks for the opening date info. See you there.

A white flag is an accessory, not an outfit. Don't you know anything about fashion?
