Pennsic merchant dates? And a clothing question.

Post by Louis de Leon »

On what day does merchanting open up at Pennsic?

I need to buy a nice outfit sometime before Tuesday evening, war week. I have something important to do and my current garb isn't up to the job. Not by a long shot. ;)

It's gotta be fairly authentic, and fairly spiff. And cool - short or open sleeves would be nice. Loose so I can move about. 14th c. French or close to it.

That's Tuesday July 28th, a week before you need your new togs, Louis.

Depends on what/how much you want to spend, Louis.

Historic Enterprises has many nice pieces to fit that time frame. And there are a few others that have nice/decent 14th C stuff, I just can't bring them to mind.

We open Thursday July 30 at Noon. We're on the Street of Dreams, #35 off the uphill end of the Barn.

FYI, we are across the board generally cheaper than certain competitors of similar merchandise.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for all the help everyone!

I have my first formal squire-ish thing to do and I don't want to look like Alaric's swamp-rat rennie squire.

Jeff, I had planned on making your shop my very first stop. Thanks for the opening date info. See you there. :)

French? All you need is a white flag.

*sigh*

A white flag is an accessory, not an outfit. Don't you know anything about fashion?
