GOOD NEWS!
It seems Drix has many, many friends and those who are near by have already made him whole. I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those who have pledged, time goods and money to help out a Brother in Arms.

All funds received will be returned without delay.

Thank you all for your help.

Some time between Monday evening and this morning my Titanium gauntlets, made by Sir Andrew Ward, and my custom Byzantine helm, made by Duke Tristram, were stolen from the Calontir shade fly on the battlefield at Pennsic. Estimated retail value is $1700.
But that is only part of it due to the fact that Andrew can no longer make the titanium gauntlets.

If any of my friends can post pictures of my helm, or better, a picture of me wearing it, it might help recover it if it were to make it onto Ebay or somesuch.
I will also hope someone can get the notice onto the Armor Archive.

My gauntlets and helm (minus its welded chain drape) were found at a water bearer's tent and turned in to Battlefield Lost and Found. The camail had been cut off. My helm basically visited a chop shop. I lost the most generic, most easily replaced part. May the thief choke on it.

I have a small St. George's cross banner I can auction. It is the only pristine piece of an ill fated banner I had to redo. I could have it done when I get home friday if anyone is interested. It's about 20" square.

Chello!

I wish I could more, but I'm in for $20 when I get paid Saturday. I also need to buy some trim and, although I'm in Ansteorra, he comes down to events here fairly regularly/occasionally.

How are we gathering the moolah?

I will collect the cash along with a running total. Once I can get in touch with Drex, I will find out what kind of aventail he wants and when we get to the correct total, I will announce a halt to donations, if for some reason, we have over collected, we can ask him what charity he would like the remaining funds to go to. I will get a buddy on site at Pensic to give him my phone # and we can get the correct info that we need to make thin happen.
If you want to make a pledge send me a PM or E-mail and I will let you know how to get me the funds.
If you are running an contribution auction, once you have the total collected, send me a pm or E-mail and I will let you know how to get me the funds.

Thanks in advance for your hep and donations.

Chello again!

Ceddie, I believe he states in his blog that it's a Master Knut aventail that was stolen.

PM sent.

Ceddie,

I thought of this after I sent the PM but let's make this camail a little special too. I wonder if we could get like a inlay done with the silicone bronze that Mast Knut has woven into the camail. That way the camail can be as unique as the rest of Drix's helm.
