WTB- Spinning pellet gun targets

Post by Black Swan Designs »

OK, OK, I know this isn't 'period', but my google foo is failing me and I figure one of you guys out there would know a good place to find these.

Looking for spinning pellet gun targets, something along the lines of these:

These are for the 'personal crossbow' range (you know, those little deals that shoot marshmallows, peanuts, wine corks, etc.) at our event next week. Please feel free to make suggestions of other targets, as I'd like to have a range of things to shoot at.

Thanks!

The image is not working for me but I would guess some PVC pipe fittings would work well.
a frame like you would use for ladder golf and the next size up to sleave over the cross bar make some paddles out of light steel or foam core attaching them oposite eachother.
Adding a few washers to the bottom paddle will right the target automaticly for the next shot.

A quick google search turned up this:
http://www.gamousa.com/family.aspx?familyID=49

Due to the weight of the projectiles (corks, marshmellows), you could probably make a simple stand out of some wooden dowels or 1x2 and make the targets out of balsa or foam.

The targets appear pretty cheap though (except for the moving one that goes along a track).

We'll make some for next year, but I'd like to have a few for this year. We're out of time for making things like this so I'm looking to buy.

Thanks!

$15 for the large one you linked above.

If you guys need them in a big hurry, and don't have Amazon Prime, let me know. I can use my account to get you free two-day shipping on them, but it looks like one-day shipping is $3.99, so not much of a hit per piece. :D

I just tried to order these from the Gamousa site, but there seems to be some sort of problem and the order won't go thru.

Plinking target
$14.95

Spinner target deluxe
$24.95

If you'd be kind enough to see if you can find these somewhere, I'd really appreciate the help. I'm almost out of time and still so much to do!!

You can email me directly at gwen [at] historicenterprises.com

THANK YOU!!

Thanks to the kindness of Saritor, the order has been placed and the targets are on their way. I'll paste some shields over the animals on the paddles, and the kids should have fun shooting at them.

Thanks for your help Saritor! 8)
