While I very much like my early bascient that Maxim made for me, I wanted something a bit later to match the rest of my kit. So he is doing this for me:

Which are of course going with this breastplate, again, done by Maxim:

These arms, by Maxim:

and these legs:

and these greaves and sabatons:

And of course, who could forget my awesome gauntlets by Whonew!

Under it all I have a fabulous gambeson, that should be here tomorrow... from another denizen of the Forums... more info on that coming soon.

I'm no expert but I don't know that I would have gone with Wisby style gauntlets for that kit...hourglass might have been more suited...

Yeah, the delivery address. I was thinking something in Akron.

Bright orange polyester tunic, white jogging pants, white soccer socks pulled up nice and high and a brand new pair of sneakers.

No jupon yet. Not sure exactly what I am going to do.
These are my shoes:

Shoes look good, the pointier the better

I'll second the hourglass and hauberk comments. Whonew makes an alright looking pair of wisbys but they will look out of place on that kit, IMO not least because of the blue welders gloves.
Bascinet looks great, arms look 15th to me looking at the fan and rebrace. Legs look very good, although the test is to see them on you, the line where the saatons meet the greaves is a tricky one to get looking right.
Its a sweet kit dude and one people are rightly jealous of. I for one applaud you for going as authentic in your kit as you can.

Oh damn I totally forgot to post that I do have a haubergeon. Its flat wire, riveted.
Decent, but not perfect, as its galvanized as best as I can tell. I do have to do some trimming on the arms and overall length as its is closer to a hauberk than haubergeon right now.
The fans on both the arms and legs are identical in size to those legs and arms they were modeled off of in the Churburg collection. Or as close as Maxim could get anyways!
Thanks for the tips and suggestions.

It should be pretty close to a hauberk for the kit your using. Soak it in vinegar overnight if its galv, that'll strip it right off however galvy maille tends to be weak as butter so dont be surprised if it doesnt hold up well to combat.

Guillaume,
When you get all the bits, please post a nice photograph of you wearing the entire kit, with the helmet visor raised, and you looking right into the camera. That way I can photoshop my face onto the picture. Thanks in advance...

P.S. Good going! Carpe diem.

Thanks ES, I didn't know that. I'll just trim the sleeves. Hopefully I'll have enough material to make a decent aventail for the helmm.
Since I'm wearing it under the plate, I don't see it getting beat on all that much. Hopefully it will do OK. It was expensive enough.
I'd love to get some 6mm flat black rivetted maille, but thats well out of my price range currently.
