Maelgwyn, your wants are pretty much the same as mine. :P Can I get back to you around the end of November? I have some trades I need to get done in November but when I get them finished I'll definitely be looking for more stuff.

As for early or late. I have no idea. I guess I'm just lame and doing generi-14th century until I have the money to do something more cohesive.

Sextus Maximus wrote:Anyone interested in my trade?? I am not looking for money, just thought someone might need a shirt and have something that was close in value to trade with... I dont use it anymore and I would like to have find a good place to be used as well as help me out with my kit. What I am looking for is..

Pair of Roman Boots
Possible hidden arm armor
Some nice Tunics or possible a nice garb for my Lady
Roman Cloak, Focale
Nice embossed Boss for the new shield I am making

I am! and my plastic lamellar is falling apart, so its time to change up. I just don't have what you need in the ball park to make it even. Boo. I do have a rivited aluminum maile hauberk if you are interested... I was going to sell it, but I do need lamellar pretty badly. I got it for 250, so I would have to make up a bit of value to you, but I have once worn hockey elbows and a girdle you might be able to use for hidden stuff. Any intrest there?

Well I have a round shield blank cut out. Just need to paint and edge it.
Ill wait a day or two to see if someone would want to trade for a sturdy Round shield. If so Ill paint it to your liking.
If not Ill finish it and auction or sell it to someone local.

sword has been traded...

if this keeps up I may be able to complete my kit and not spend a dime (other than shipping)

anyone interested in books? I've got a crapton of old sci fi and fantasy that my fiance would be thrilled to know I've gotten rid of...

You could get a bit crazy and do third party trades.. if you have three people who all make different things and and kinda work a circle.
Just ideas lol.
Make sure you trust all three..

Is the shield metal or wood, if its a 30" metal then I have some knees that arent moving that would make awesome loaners.

Oddly, I had that thought myself - sort out who wants what and then it gets shipped to the appropriate person, rather than shipping each item several times. And why stop at three?

To be honest, I kind of saw the degrading plastic as good thing, because replacing it was going to force me to step up the franchise a bit. I want to replace the leather armor I made a year and a half ago with splinted stuff, and some real metal lamellar would tie it all together.

Thank you very much though!

I have a PS2 & 4 games I have no use for, put them on Craigslist for $50 - if anyone is interested shoot me a message and let me know what you got. Always looking for extra armor for the loaner pile and my personal spin is 13th Century Norman. Wife loves butterflies.

armor is pretty much taken care of...so mostly looking for clothing and the like now....as for what I have to trade, a few modern knives, a few full tang carbon steel knife blanks (if they haven't gotten lost), a metric crap ton of old sci fi and fantasy books, some older comics including a Sgt. Nick Fury from '64 I think...some MST3K DVD's....I have a lot of crap and no room to put it....

I love my helm, but I need something that gives more room in the front for my glasses. I can barely get it on. I'm looking to trade as I really can't afford a new helm right now. Its a spangenhelm (believed to be made by hjalmer). I'll try to get pics and measurements later today. I also work in chainmaille so I would be willing to throw in some jewwlry and such as well. Great christmas gifts. I'm looking for something that has more space in the front preferably in a norman design, but let me see what you have.

I've got a set of Illusion Armoury Mid 15th century legs I'm ready to part with. If there is an interest I can clean them up and take pics.

http://illusionarmoring.com/

The Italian legs. These are a bit older, formerly of the infamous suit of Mr Josh W. I'm looking for maille shirt/hauberk, simple helm for SCA use, or Ottoman/eastern european garb.

Any interest let me know.
