what price range are yoo looking at for the greaves.
and as far as weapons go is this for sca use?
if so you would be better off just buying the fittings and making a new sword.

I got a lot of responses to the like on the weapons - trying to find a pommel/hilt set I like at the moment.

Not sure on the greaves cost - havent done a ton of looking.

any preferance for material or style?
I have some scrap plastic that would work well for hidden or fabric covered greaves. I also have little bit of heavy leather but you would probibly want to harden them and seal them beind sole bend it takes a while.

I traded for a pair of these for my husband. She can make them even for the big dudes. I could use em as thigh armor. Well made and attractive as well.
