Spring steel & stainless lamellar - material is in!

Greetings once again! I am still planning on having the spring steel and spring stainless steel lamellar plates available by the middle/end of January. I decided to start with both instead of one and then adding the other.
The spring steel plates are 0.031" thick 1075 blue tempered steel. They will end up being $.80 per plate.
The spring stainless steel plates are 0.031" thick 301 full hard. Their price will be $.95 per plate.
I originally looked at 410 tempered stainless steel in 0.025" thick, but the price is actually higher. Comparing the two, 410 tempered does have slightly higher tensile and yield strength (200000 and 180000 respectively) compared to 301 full hard (185000 and 140000 respectively), but at that range the difference wasn't worth the price change. To give an idea for comparison, tensile and yield strength for 304 stainless is 75000 and 31200, while 6061 t6 alumium is 42000 and 35000.
For now, the bulk pricing does not include these materials.
I probably won't be keeping an inventory of these plates, but cutting them as they are ordered. Delivery time for now is estimated at two weeks from ordering, once I have material. Before I make my initial material order, I want to find out who is definately (or nearly so) planning on ordering either of these. Please PM or email me ( jamie at polarbearforge.com ) with the type of steel, the plate type, and the number. The plate styles can be found at http://www.polarbearforge.com/lamellar.htm and I can makes changes if there's something close, but not quite what you're looking for.
