I sent them an email on February 17th for an update on a linen gambeson I've ordered from them. I heard back later the same day. It should be shipping out in a weekand hopefully I'll see the end result 2 weeks after that *knock on wood*

Don't do business with them, Icefalcon, 'nuff said! You don't want your own reputation dashed against rocky shores because you're trying to be a good middle-man. Ain't worth it. Hope you didn't lay too much cash down for the order, or that it does eventually get completed.

The shipping lag must also affect their email response. Maybe they get email by boat.

Your reputation speaks for itself.

Months behind schedule.

Blowing off people when the confront you on it.

I forone will never do business with you again. And I actually had a great experience. I find your recent attitude...lacking.

Hello Steel-Mastery,

I was one of the first people to buy from you when you started selling on e-bay. The price was quite fair, workmanship good and the package came in pretty quickly. Heck, that's your helm in my avatar on the left side of the page.

I became one of your biggest fans and cheerleaders on the web. I sang your praises everywhere I posted and in person at WMA events. :D

By posting glowing reports I ended up having a number of people that knew me either as an internet friend or as a person in real life order form you. At first, orders came in, people were happy... :D

Then the issues started:

Missed deadlines. :?

Missed revised deadlines. :?

No Communication.

People waiting months to a year for products promised in weeks. :x

Taking money and orders from folks and promising short delivery times when you had a queue backed up about a year. (That right there is a breaker for me) :x

Having orders show up moths late and be wrong. Wrong helm, wrong size, not even close to the order. ( I saw this personally with people in Alaska) :x

I don't know what you did to Gregory but I tell you what you did to me.

You ruined my personal reputation as someone to be trusted for information on trustworthy vendors by your actions.

Had you only been forthcoming with honest dates as your queue backed up most of us would have still ordered.

Had you only been forthcoming with honest revised deadlines when issues arose, most of us would have still ordered.

I'm waiting on a expensive piece of armour from an armourer who had to revise his delivery date. I don't mind as he was quick to let me know that he couldn't make his first delivery date and gave me a new date that still gives me plenty of time to have this for the event.

Cheers,

David

Meanwhile our fighters got their stuff from steel mastery.
The items are excellent but unfortunately the color of one gambeson was wrong. No big issue but it added some 'bad smell' to the long time it needed.

Got my gauntlets this week. I think there was a mistake made. They are mild steel instead of stainless and they are made for a hand that is half the size of mine.

I sent an email a few days back and I am waiting on a reply.
