I have this helm (in mild), and it's simply superb. And, to my surprise, there are existing historical close-style helms with vertical bar visors (for tournament use, obviously, not warfare)! Excellent lines, construction, and performance, with good vision and breathing. I'm finishing up an early-16th C. cap-a-pie rig, and the helm is perfect for it.

Thank god this helm is to small for me. Otherwise I would be horse trading to get it. :)

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Very interested. Will have tax money before Estrella. Is it strapped already and could you post pic(s)? I will check my dome measurement after work today and let you know something.
