Wow, thanks. I think that's First Raving Asshole file I've ever been into.

Thanks, I think I can reciprocate there.

Oh, I doubt that. probably the first time anyone has actually told you they were doing it, is all.

Does that mean you get that allot?

Grendel, I doubt it was the lack of pictures people were finding to make you untrustworthy, more your hostile attitude. I certainly wasn't interested in your gun, being from the UK, but I still found it offputting that you got so het up, so quickly. If I were buying from you, I'd be worried that at the slightest problem, you'd blow a fuse

Thanks for the feedback.

I've sold allot of items here and never had a problem, blowing a fuse :)

Funny thing, I am not heated at all. I found this thread humorous, especially since I copied my post on the other board at 1115 this morning and sold it 20 mins later, without pics.

Wow... what a "fun" thread...

Glad it sold Grendel, its a fantastic rifle. Wish I had the dosh for it. Even though its only got a 16" barrel, I still wouldn't minding having one in my collection.

Wow.

I own and run one of the larger gun forums on the web and definitely the largest gun forum in California. We move several hundred thousands of dollars in firearms and accessories per month through our Marketplace forums alone, I'm not unfamiliar with how to sell a gun online.

Pro Tip:
You're doing it wrong.

Ads with photos sell, those without usually take several days longer or don't sell.
People who are interested generally know what the gun in question looks like in general, they want to see the specific one they're considering spending their money on.

Internet sales require trust, I'm going to send you a large sum of cash on your word. Most people judge the value of a man's word on his character, the attitude displayed in this thread is not a good example of your character and likely an incorrect one as well.

'Tire kickers' buy on occasion too and from a pure marketing standpoint they keep your ad up near the top without the animosity and without excessive 'bumping' by you.
If you're worried about wasting time on 'tire kickers' take a look at how much time you've had to put in to this already, and all you've done is alienate potential buyers.

I'm sure this is all falling on deaf ears and you will have some scathing comment in return, that's fine.
I'm not looking to discuss I'm just trying to give you some helpful information.

ETA: Congrats on the sale, looking at your location I'm going to guess Derek's forum, Northeastshooters?

Dude this gun is a piece of poop. The Hi-Point Carbine is the true choice of the Navy Seals. Far superior gun. Your gun is made out of steel. Hi points are made of Zinc. ZINC! the same shit that is in centrums. They take about 30 tons of centrums and use the zinc from them to make hi-points.
