Rattan rondel dagger w/ scabbard FS

Post by Vitus von Atzinger »

Here is a rattan rondel dagger with it's companion scabbard.

Dagger blade is 13"
Rondels are of Indian Rosewood (cut thicker than the original batch)

I can make the belts (not pictured, but included) either, brown, black or red.

$80 (postage included in price)

I made a batch of black and brown combos- two are already sold but there are two other examples coming later.

Must say, I love your scabbards. I was wondering though, what kind of thread do you use for the stitching?

I love my Vitus scabbard and dagger set. I got his Ballock dagger last year and finally used it for the first time 2 weekends ago. It worked beautifully!

Just one minor thing tho, Sir Vitus. If you are still using the leather you used back then for the belt, I would find something else. Mine ripped at the leather pieces it was stitched to near the scabbard. The leather was quite dry. I figured it would do this back when I first got it but it was not a big deal, as I had a spare red belt I used to redo the belt.

I still give him 5's all around.

There is a WIDE variety of quality in leather sides. Sometimes a piece of leather will not handle the drying agent in the dye well. You often won't find out for weeks.
