I'm looking to purchase two center bosses. I was wondering if anyone had a good link or two for some out there or extras in general. Also, do they make center bosses with the grips built right into them (it seems more secure).

I just had my appendix removed, so there's really not as big of a rush. 4-6 weeks of no heavy combat sucks.

I'm looking to make a viking round or something similiar.

My dad's making up a batch. Same as the ones on my site. They should be ready sometime this coming week.

Ive been doing some spangen built shield bosses out of either 16ga mild steel with a matte finish or the last of my street signs for 45.00 a piece, 15.00 more for full polish. I usually bring the crossbars of the spangen out into a flame or some other shape for a real nice boss. I have to hunt my file selection for the pics, but I could have one together in a few days if your interested.

I will weld 2 stainless bars in mine at no cost.

you then add a split piece of rattan shaved to your requirements on boths sides of the bars. wrap "handle" in fiber tape and cover with athletic tape or light leather.

people like it when their hand is in the plane of the shield and not behind it.
