Where are all the padded coifs?

Hey folks,

I regret selling a padded arming coif that I am quite sure I purchased from Historic Enterpises a few years back. I just received one from Revival Enterprises but the fit is all wrong and it does not sit on the head well, so I am returning it. I am looking for a simple, good fitting padded linen coif to wear below a mail coif. Any suggestions? I would like to get one for less than the $35 I just paid to RE, which I thought was a bit steep to begin with... Head circumference just shy of 23". Cheers!

Why not just make one?
Can be done easily in an evening.

I would but I'd rather not pay for yards of material when that would cost about as much as most people charge for them... :)

That's where I got mine. Great stuff.

So now where can I find an unpadded one, hmm?[/i]

We have them as well. 100% cotton.

I have a ton of colors to choose from.

!!!

Really?

1 yard of fabric and less than a 1/2 yard of cotton padding will cost that much?
