Re: Possible Allergies
My fiance had a specific kind of allergy test done to find out specific things from Immuno labs. It was more comprehensive than the normal blood test was. While her diet is VERY restrictive now (only poultry, fish, brown rice, fruits and veggies -- no gluten, dairy, eggs, red meat, corn or chocolate), she is feeling much better.
Beyond that, my recommendation is to see an Orthopedist and a Neurologist. Chiros are fine for normal back and neck pain, but they really cannot go beyond that (despite what they may say). Discuss all of this with your Internist, as they can likely offer better advice than any of us can.
IMHO, seeing these specialists in as short a time as possible should be your only priority. Period.
Good luck.

Hands won't stop hurting. I just can't sit in a fucking chair with my hands in my lap. THIS SUCKS!!!!
If there is no change in a 3/4 days I'm finishing my backlog.

i was about to tell you not to do anything that would cause permanent damage then re thought it.
you are a grown man and im sure you dont need me to tell you anything.
you do what you need to do.
just bear in mind there are people who would like to see you able to continue to produce your art as well as partaking in the company of your martial skills.
all the best to you sir.

Er, I'd wager that if there was still pain in a a few months after you've seen a doctor, maybe permanant damage is a factor.
I think you're jumping the gun because you're both dedicated and frustrated. Dedicated to your craft, and frustrated by inaction.
PLEASE wait until after you've gotten a good serious going over from a doctor before you start up again. You may only exacerbate whats going on.

Bears repeating. Don't tough it out. Everyone knows you can, you have nothing to prove.
The thing I've noticed about being in my 40's is that if I get hurt, what used to take days to heal takes weeks. Or months. And a few things I've done seem to be permanent. You have to take that into consideration. You could permanently sideline yourself here over some leatherwork. It's a possibility if you force things.
Don't let your frustration get the better of you. Do the right thing. Get to a doctor, get to the bottom of it, and get well.

Tried to work on Nissan's magic gift. I started cutting the skin off the rattan and in five minutes my ENTIRE right hand went numb.
I gotta get one of my squires to do this.
I'm making an appointment with my GP today about possibly seeing a neurologist because of other very troubling symptoms.
