Master Eirik Update (w/ upcoming events)

One - I'm headed up to Baron Wars this weekend. Look forward to seeing a bunch of you there.

Two - I've got the 160 psi siloflex back in, but the cost has more than doubled. Empty pipe (42") has to go $10 each. I about broke my jaw on the floor when I got the invoice. Which takes the price of pre-made rattan cored siloflex sword blanks to $35. I won't get any made by this weekend but I'll let folks know when I get them done.

Three - I'm getting some more big rattan in. But it went up too. I'll post when I have the final numbers. There also isn't much of it, the importer got shorted on his shipment, I'm getting everything he's got, and everything off his summer container in a month, but I'm not going to have the 80+ sticks for Pennsic this year that I had last year.

And Four - Vitus, in case you missed it, I got the 1.5 inch shaved rattan. I might have it in time for Baron Wars Saturday, but Monday at the latest.

Packed and loaded for Baron Wars. Taking off from work at noon, heading out tomorrow afternoon.

I'll be at Aethelmarc War Practice for the first time next week. It'll be a new experience to be there and it not be Pennsic :lol:

The last time I was there for a Thursday to Sunday event was in the 80's.

I start packing the shop for War Camp tonight. I've got a fresh batch of flat-sided sticks being cut too.

New load of rattan! Just over a 1/2 ton.

The rattan in the green circles is the normal Thug stick (45-55mm), the ones in the yellow circles are Boom Sticks! (55-65mm)

Now to finish getting over this <bleep> cold

Packing up for North Oaken War Maneuvers this evening. Bronchitis is almost done thanks to major antibiotics, Robitussin & Mucinex.
