Chainmail and Brigandine Update

Post by Duke Icefalcon »

I have been told that this shipment is finally out of customs overseas and is on the water.

It should arrive in the States on or about 24 May. After clearing customs here (allow a week or so) I will have it and will be shipping it out to you hot little hands. :)

Now is the time to get in on this order if you want a short wait on your chainmail for summer. Items will sell out quickly once the word gets out.

Drop us line if you would like to check availability.

Cheers!

Ice

Any update yet? Do you get told when the shipment makes landfall prior to making its way through customs?

Here is the latest and greatest....

Ship is due in late today. Should be in customs for a little while. I guess that should be about a week or so. I will have all of the chainmail and brigs that are on order out to you the day I get it in my hands.

Now is the time to order chainmail for those of you who are interested. Much of this order is sold already but there is still more. It will not last long. Feel free to contact me about availability.

Cheers!

It was a gruesome death. However, I was honored they sent 6 guys to kill me. It looks so awesome on tape. Three are holding me down as Murdoch lifts up my chain and knifes me three times. Once in the cheek, and then twice in the thigh. Lucky for me, it isn't real, or I'd have been in some trouble!

How long do you expect the wait in customs to be?

If it's delayed until 20JUN10 you'll have to ship to the new house in Colorado.
With respect,

Your Grace,

What ever came of the flat ring mail mittens you were considering carrying awhile back? If you have any unclaimed in this shipment I am interested. If you are making a future order please include me on it.

Thank you

A: There was not enough interest in them.

B: The company that we were dealing with for them turned out to be dishonest and low life forms. We still deal with SN, who have not let us down yet.

If there ever develops a strong interest in these items, we will be happy to provide them to you.

Most of the orders are out. Still waiting on some folks to give me updated credit card info.

One issue- Mild steel aventails, skirts and coifs did not come in like they were supposed to on this shipment. I am going to have them sent by air ASAP so I can fill these orders. I will eat the extra shipping.

Cheers!

A month? Man, barely going to have this stuff organized for Pennsic!

I got the hauberk today, lovely stuff. It lost a link near the middle right off the bat and another fell out of some mystery spot soon after I first donned it, but otherwise things are peachy. Looking forward to the aventail. :)

Here ya go. You can order them now. If the interest is not there, I will remove them as a product. These work great if you want to split them and cover your existing gauntlets.

Is the price correct on the mittens? $495 is too much for my coffers right now.

That is correct. They are 6mm Flat riveted. The smaller rings work better when you are talking about hand dexterity. What are you looking to spend? Maybe we can come up with a solution for the economy minded? Perhaps 9mm or butted or something made out of potato skins... :)

Round ring mild steel is fairly inexpensive. It is not something I really want to carry. I would buy from Therion if you want to keep that price point.
