WTB basic WMA gear

Greetings,
I'm wanting to put together two sets of basic WMA stuff. I'm stuck in 29 Palms, California for the next couple of months and haven't found any active SCA out here, so I ordered a set of shinais to play with. Unfortunately Marines break stuff really quickly, especially when they are breaking them on each other. I'd like to get two cheap helms, maybe some good padded gloves. Command doesn't look highly upon us breaking our fingers. And if anyone has solid practice swords, that would be awesome. Anything that I can use for a couple of months and leave here for the next group of Marines to play with.
