FS - Stake Plate (auction)-ENDED

Post by Jeffrey Hedgecock »

I have an extra stakeplate (Bally, pexto copy) I'd like to offer on auction.

There are a couple of broken sockets, but someone skillful could fix them. The one with the white on it is one I tried to braze, but I'm not a very good brazer.

Shipping will be charged at cost + $5.00 for packing materials, via UPS ground. I'm sorry but I'm not able to estimate shipping cost, but if you'd like to look it up, try UPS.com with our origin zip of 92065. Weight is 40 pounds.

I'll start the bidding at $25 (plus shipping), ending on Wednesday May 26 at 7pm PT/10pm ET.

Good luck and thanks for looking!

Is it steel or cast iron?

Either way, I open at $50.

It's cast iron. As far as I know, all stakes plates are. Thanks for your bid Chris.

OK, sale price should be more than shipping.

Shipping to my place - $56, so I bid $60.

Hey Wade,

You have the highest bid prior to 7pm, so you get it. I'll check shipping on my system tomorrow. What's your zip?

Will paypal work for you?

Thanks for your bid!

Paypal is fine.

Zip is 27243.

The email address associated with me on PayPal is wadealln@us.ibm.com

Works great to send me notes too.

I am happy to pay. No need to rush on the shipping. Whatever is cheapest and whenever works for you is fine.

Aargh! I was away from the archive too long. This should have gone for a much higher price. Wade you got damn lucky! I'd have bid at least $100 for it. :/

Sorry.

I'm just happy to get some bucks out of it and not have to worry about stubbing my toe on it again.
