Is there a demand for decent-quality knife sheaths?

One think that bugs me is seeing a nice, handmade knife in a sheath that looks like an afterthought. I'm putting out very preliminary feelers for interest in semi-custom leather knife sheaths. Especially for seaxes, but I could do other periods. I don't have the resources to do sword sheaths right now, but I've made some pretty decent knife sheaths in the past.

So, if you think there is a need for knife sheaths, let me know. Also, if you think there is NOT a market for them, please respond as well.

* I am not set up to begin making any yet, so if you are in the market for one, it would be a long while before I could even start talking about it.

I believe there is a market for quality goods no matter what they are! The items I have seen posted here, and the prices paid show that the AA folks know quality when they see it and are not afraid to pay a fair price for such! I think you could do well if you establish a reasonable set of "rules of engagement" with your customer base from the start, maintain good open communications with them, maintain your quality standards and don't oversell!
Good Luck!
