Wanted: Green leather belt, preferably buckled 12th century.
Wanted: Green leather belt, preferably buckled 12th century.
I think the title pretty much explains it all. I am looking for a belt, to be delivered no later than September 1st, green leather belt, preferably with a 12th century buckle. (Optimally.) 1 inch wide leather. If anyone has such a thing, or can make me such a thing, I would appreciate it deeply!

That's a pretty straightforward order that several people here can reliably fill for you.
You have left out one important piece of information, that can make a significant difference - how long does the belt need to be?
Out to about 60 inches is easy, most any leatherworker will be able to find that easily. Over 60 inches you start getting into a little more limited territory

Definitely less than 60 inches... something between 53 and 56 would be ideal (and appropriate for my period, even! hehe.)

Green Leather Belt
We keep green leather belts in stock, in any length up to 96" long and 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2" and can make any other width needed. If you have a particular belt fitting you want, you can have it drop shipped to us and we will fit it up for FREE if you purchase the belt from us.
The belts are dyed evenly, edges are beveled and sealed, front and backs of the belt are sealed to prevent dye getting on your expensive costumes.
It is odd that folks will pay extreme amounts of money for their garb and then slap a $10 belt around it and get dye on it after the first wear.
Give us a shout if you are interested. Thanks.
