Badly need a favor in SE Wisconsin (Northshield)

Post by Lloyd »

Hi All,

I am jousting in a tournament on Friday that is being filmed as a pilot for a new tv reality show. My new armour, didn't quite all make it and now I found out that I will also be sword fighting.

Does anyone have a spare set of 3/4 legs that I could borrow for the day?

I know this is a weird request, but we will be going through Milwaukee tomorrow on our way down to Kenosha for the tourney.

Thanks!
Cheers,

I have a set of cuisses and knees you could use - dont know what size of a man you are but they are yours to use as long as I get them back!

PM me and we can chat.

I did - Wisconsin 1 Day Joust Tournament

Unfortunately, my armour hasn't arrived yet from MercTailor and my set of cuisses from Arizona. So, I have taken a steel shield that I got from Leif and now have a workable (boy do I hope) corrizana breastplate. I have vambraces and pauldrons, gorget and sallet and bevor - but no couters and no cuisses...

This wasn't too much of a problem until I found out I have to also fight with rebatted swords - for which, I would really like cuisses!

Also, if I have room, I can toss the dehumidifier in and drop it off. I have to stop by LWCM's house and maybe Valerius' house (he's looking into couters for me) on the way down to Bristol.

Thanks, Ted, I appreciate the help.
