I made myself an aluminum pavise out of 0.100 thick 6061 t6 aluminum and i welded it together down the middle. It also has a welded on boss and welded on half inch thick aluminum bar stock for edging,so no need for any other edging. I used this shield several times and realized i am just a center mount round fighter.

The welds have a couple cracks in them since this is the first thing i ever welded with my aluminum spool gun.

I am asking $150 as is or $180 if you want me to fix up the bad spots on it first.

i just happened to have a brand new gambeson being tailored for me right now but trades are welcome.

Still doing the greek thing? I have some bronze swords i've been trying to unload, and have been looking for a center grip pavise.

get me a picture of the swords and we can talk. not big into swords so i might not wanna give you the value you think they are worth but we will see.

Weight of the shield?
Diameter of the shield boss?
Depth of the shield boss?


All important questions for inquiring minds.

the deminsions of the shield are 24 by 31.5. not sure about the weight but it isnt a beast.(its all aluminum even the handle.) the boss is 7" and its definately deep.

nice sword but it doesnt have a handle or scabbard. I have gone 14th century for my tourney persona so the only reason to get a bronze sword would be if my friend who is greek persona won crown.

I would gladly entertain other trades.

Yeah, none of my blades do. My clients were big into personalization. I still have some cow longbones and enough giraffe to make a handle somewhere...
