What I do: Blacksmithing, I like making campwear cookwear and tools, I will do knives, axes, tomahawks, maces, hammers and other medeival weapons, I love trying to make stuff I'v never made. I can also do modern items for you home. I am learning leatherwork and can do leather pouches bags and sheaths. I am working on sheilds at the moment and will soon be selling canvas covered painted sheilds.

what I need: NAME IT! I'v been an sca member for all of 2 weeks and need kit! I'm going for either a 12th century crusader persona and would like a sugar loaf helm and other armour of the period, aswell as soft kit. Or a 10th century norse persona, I have not narrowed it down to ny thing specifice so i am open to suggestions

Parvati DOES pysanky (batiked Ukrainian Easter eggs from finch to ostrich,) silk painting/dyeing, henna, and jewelry.
Parvati WANTS tent/camping/Pennsic gear. She's also handy with a plane and a hand-drill, so she'll happily take bum gear. She spent her first War in a pup tent that wasn't hers and her arthritis did not approve. She'd love a 10X10 marquee, like those are often found laying around. . . :)

Also relatively ok at heraldic images (ie, send me a description and I can put together a digital image).
Updating to add:

Honestly, I'll trade / barter for any item that would be of appropriate quality to include in a Royal gift basket. Half-tan some leather, or produce "hungary-tan" leather, which is a regional equivalent to NW-Euro buff leather. (not as stretchy as true buff, VERY flexible)

What I need:

I specialize in electrical repair from auto repair to custom aftermarket instalations (and not the kind where you have wires hanging loose everywhere). I have worked building hotrods and custom choppers, so if its something I can't do (body, paint, uppholstry, machining) I can direct you to the best locals in the industry to go to. I also do pre-purchase inspections for private party car buyers. Know what you're getting into before lllyou buy that "Great Deal"

What I do:
Certified Harley Davidson Mechanic, Trained in Yamaha and BMW as well at Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute in Orlando, FL. I worked at Powder Keg Harley Davidson in Mason, OH but the seasonal work just pissed me off and I decided to go back to school for a new career. I'm in the Cincinnati area but am all over the Midrealm for events and can easily strap my top box to my trailer and pull it along to do work before or after an event.

I do some woodworking as well, mostly armor stands and some rapier shields.

What I am looking for:
Viking garb, jewelry, footwear, etc. Fencing Gear.

Does, garb (pretty much any and all types), embroidery, spinning, aromatherapy, brewing, illumination.

I'm trying to set up a mostly period Ottoman Encampment, looking to trade for natural fabrics, embroidery or spinning materials, middle eastern instruments, beautiful matching feast gear, baskets and or bags to carry gear in....or someone can make me an offer.

Here is a link to some pics of my earlier works, some are example only, some are actually available for trade now. Each photo is labeled.

Hi there!

Looking for scraps of chainmail, preferably flat ring, stainless.

Looking to make a couple of "shin guards" to mimic the look of chain chausses. I need some pieces roughly 20" long, 4" wide at the bottom, and 17" on the top.

Simply going to lace them up the back. Rectangular pieces would be even better as I could trim them as needed to make them fit better.

Also looking for a chain hauberk that fits a 42" chest, 32" waist, knee length, and elbow length.

Thanks!

Laura can do: naalbinding. I make mittens and socks out of 100% naturally colored sheep's wool . Willing to trade one pair of either for $50 [or thereabouts] worth of stuff back. Online stores like jelldragon sell socks for $90 per pair and mittens for even more, so hopefully I'll find people to trade with ^_^

Laura wants:
Viking shield, viking armor, viking or norman helmet, gambeson, etc. for her boyfriend [so if it would fit a six foot tall dude it will work]
I'm a metallurgist with access to a machine shop so it's ok if they're not completely finished. I just can't weld.
I'm also willing to trade for anything cool that would go with a viking persona

Image

You know you want warm naalbound things before going to cold early spring events!

Lance can Provide :

* The legal services of Contract Drafting and Contract Review. I'm a business attorney in the Midwest, and while there are other areas I could provide services, I would be unwilling to do these outside of my state.
* Sewing basic garb, specifically tunics, pants, and hoods. I have a strong preference for working with linen or wool.

Lance Wants :

Note : I only do foam fighting sports such as Amtgard and Dagorhir, so SCA standards do not need to be met. I also do a lot of costuming, so anything should look good. My personas are viking and 13-14th century German/Eastern European. Prefer period looking items.

* A helmet! Either something in a passable viking style or an onion top bascinet with klapvisor, preferably comparable to what Mad Matt makes (http://www.madmattsarmory.com/images/ar ... inet_L.jpg).
* Arming cap and/or riveted aventail
* Gorget, preferably with leather layer in contact with skin
* Steel or splinted greaves
* Sabatons
* Breastplate. Hard to give much detail, I'd be open to a lot. Alternatively a nice coat of plates.

* Viking accessories, including feast gear, camping gear, and trim made from tablet weaving.
* Period tent, though it would need to be reasonably compact.

*Pirate coat or anything steampunk-esk in nature that isn't freaking googles.
