I am deeply involved in my regular job, a head cold that is slowly leaving and making a new set of leg armour for myself.
The next on the list are-
Simple stuff-
Hrolf
Barnet
Elaborate-
Eirik
Stephen
I am also putting coat after coat of epoxy on 15 different shields.

I cannot recommend Vitus' ecranche shields for jousting (SCA, Balsa, or even Heavy Armour styles), these things are nearly indestructable. If you are even giving the tiniest thought to jousting - get one of these TODAY!

@ Lloyd: That's a lovely picture and a nice shield. I have one just like that sitting right beside me. It even has the same scuff marks!

You cant? Why not? That kinda sucks.
(I think you're missing an "enough" in there... as in "I cannot recommend Vitus' shields enough"...but I couldn't help yanking your chain for leaving it out)

Today I laid epoxy on a number of heaters of various sizes.
I also shaped and stained all the hafts to the PILE of axes I just sold.

Right now I am forced to devote each day to different work. However, I can lay epoxy every day- it's the last thing I do before I close up shop. There are about 15 shields that are going to be finished pretty much all at once. I am working around my real job, which is reallly sporadic.
I will need reminders from people who paid for paint jobs and strapping etc.
Day1- Weapons
Day2- Sewing
Day3- Painting
Day4- Weapons
Day5- Sewing
Day6- Painting
Ad Inf.
