I have for sale a galvanized mild steel butted mail aventail. The links apear to be snipped rather than sawn. I am not sure of the link size or wire guage but it is heavy. It has a doubled mail section in front which is visible in the bottom of the 1st pic. I did not make this, but purchased it many many years ago and it has been sitting in my garage ever since.

what's the length from top to bottom? also the inside circumference? if it fits my sons' helm I'm in. paypal ok?

Laid out flat in as close to a circle as I could, it is approximately 21" across with an opening of 7 to 8".
