Known World Treasures will be closing the website (in Dec) and limiting events we will be merchanting at. Not because of a bad thing, actually a VERY GOOD thing! As you know I am in the Army. I have been personally selected for a position in Heidelberg, Germany. I have to report by 7 Feb. We are very happy to be going back to Drachenwald!

Don't despair, we will continue to have our booth at Gulf Wars and Pennsic. This could also be a very good oppertunity for the business and US SCAdians as I will be over in Europe able to personally meet the European armorers and business' and make great contacts for my return to the States.

We will miss seeing you but we will be back, bigger and better than ever upon the return! Thanks for all of your support and we look to continue serving you. THL Ulrich von Rothenburg

Yes, I will be at Autumn Melees! Really looking forward to the great event! I am just praying for better weather than last year...froze my butt off but still had a great time. Ulrich

George Fh, thank you and I am so excited to be going back to Drachenwald. I have already contacted the group I will be with, The Shire of Monarchs Rest. I look forward to meeting everyone when I get there and I will look for you. But why wait for spring? last time I was there, I was authorizing in the winter snow at Nurnberg! I am curious to see how the Army drawdown in Germany has affected the groups there. I see a lot of the ones that were there when i was last there in 95-98 are still active. Look forward to being very active in the group. Ulrich

"Personally selected..." heheheh *reminisces of his army days and the joy that filled his heart when he went from Ft. Polk to Germany...*

It seems that everyone who has been blessed with living in Germany wants to journey back once again (I know I do...) It is too bad you will miss winterfest, I was going to ask you to eat a brat and brochen for me. Heidelberg is a great town with a really good group of SCAdians, enjoy yourself.

Galen, not sure. I will see what the need is over there. there are so many armorers and other reenactment groups people can choose from. I will see, but as stated, I will continue to have our merchant booth at Pennsic and Gulf. The good news is that I will have more time to play with the SCA than I did here at Ft Polk. Ulrich
