We want it to be more expensive because if you get paid more for your efforts you're far more likely to make more cool stuff for us.

It's really entirely self interest. If people aren't rewarded for making cool stuff, they won't make more cool stuff.

I'm interested in the this pattern(still for sale?), but I'm wondering if its talks about what leather to get.

Gonna do splinted greaves next and likely followed quickly by splinted legs. Will end up at a full suit eventually if they're selling.

I'm making a pair of splinted legs and greaves next week and will take the pics for the next instruction sets while I make them.

It's gonna be $10 for splinted greaves. $10 for splinted legs without the knees and $10 for the soupcan elbows and knees (one set for both) or $25 for all three. But not till they're finished.
