Review of Buyans Armoury

Post by der soldat »

I'm allways on the lookout for any one on the Archive who is making quality late 15th early 16th centuary armour,so when I saw this thread

http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/ ... p?t=124691

by Tutov Mike that contained some Landsknecht era stuff I immediately pm'd him asking if he was able to make a Milanese cuirass from around 1505-1510

He said he could make it in 10 days from that Monday(and he did :D )
I think the finished cuirass arrived at my door around two weeks after it was done

The fit and finish are excellent and it perfectly completes my North Italian/South German man-at-arms kit.

5/5 for communication
5/5 for turn Around Time
5/5 For the quality of the cuirass

In closing,I highly recommend Tutov Mike at Buyans Armoury

Pics to follow soon
