This leather girdle purse (Belt pouch) is modeled after the one depicted in the illumination "Dogs Defend their Master" found in the book "De proprietatibus rerum" (On The Order of Things), bound circa 1350 AD.
It is crafted from 2 oz leather, hand stitched, hand tooled, and dyed with homemade vinegroon dye. The compartment measurements are roughly 6.5" by 4.5"
