Helm crests

I have finally gotten MacTavish his helm crest and would like to publically thank him for his patience as my life has gone through many many diverse changes.

Now I would like to offer my crests to others too-
Each crest is made out of foam filled latex or urethane foam. Each crest has a domed bottom to fit many shaped helms. They can have magnets affixed to the bottom but I suggest that you have tie points onto your helmet and mantle instead of relying on the magnets.

The ones I have avaliable are-
Archive gauntlet and hammer - $80 each
Boar's head - $75 becuase of the acrylic sepreate cast tusks
Wolf Head - $65 each

I also have two more behourd crests that I will be posting pictures of soon. Dragon heads cast for Leeds Royal Armouries and Boar's cast for Order of the Boar in New Zealand. Those will be $50 each.

Shipping in the continental USA is $15 because of the weight of the foam and the size of each piece.

Payment can be made via paypal to oneail@hotmail.com and please add +4% to cover paypal costs.
Checks are fine, please contact me for info.

Please allow 2 weeks after reciept of the money before it ships from my shop.

Custom Crests are available but construction starts at $250 and goes up from there, please contact me for a quote.

Thank you Randy! I dont have a picture of them, doh! bad artist bad!

They are slightly smaller than these crest but stand taller as they are designed to be whacked off helmets in a mounted behourd.

If you would like to purchase one, please contact me privatly. Thank you very very much for the business!

Those are awesome! Do they come with the little cloth piece at the bottom? I'm assuming not. Forgive my lack of knowledge of the terminology for it.

And can I assume they are not prepainted?

You could assume that they come unpaint.... but you would be wrong! These come full painted.

In fact we can even do a DIY crests if people want. want it trimmed but not painted, then take $10 off the costs. Want it fresh from the mold? Take $15 off the costs.

Youd have to trim the flashing and paint it. The latex is a beige color and the urethane is a slightly off white. With the boar, the tusks would aslo come fresh from the mold, shouldnt need any work just glued into the boars mouth. ALSO the boar tusk do not come with the braidwork carved in or the pearls attached to the base.

They do not come with the mantles (cloth pieces)

Greetings Sir Angus,

Awesome work as always! Really sharp. Glad to see you're back on the Archive and producing stuff again. I'm going to have to save up my pennies.

Just a quick question, how would these stand up to SCA combat? Say for instance, if a fellow was to wear one in a specialty tournament featuring two teams of thirty where shots to the head w/ mass weapons are the predominant target of choice?

They are super resiliant but not indestructable. Id say they would probably stand upto the 30, but I cant gauruntee it.
