Postive Halberd's Review

Post by Aaron »

Hi,

Bottom Line Up From: EXCELLENT customer service and prices.

I haven't got the product yet, but that's just icing on the cake. The cost was 50% of what it would realistically cost (maybe even less), and when we added a modest tip (quite small really) he added some extra products. The PM communication is fast (<2 hrs until I got a reply), to the point, friendly and included pictures.

Overall I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Oh, and I use Halberd's tool set often and it is very impressive and useful. Perfect score there too!

With glee,

-Aaron

PS: And Maureen is really, really looking forward to woodworking with those hinges, etc...

If you're not satisfied you can return for a refund.
Execpt the tip.

Thank you for your kind words.

Customer service is 90% of my reviews IMO. So right now you rate an A-. Once I get the product, it will be upgraded.

I have been reading the forum for awhile now.
The thing I see that most pisses off people... is someone taking their money and not delivering their products, or excessively late.

To aspire to the level of chivalry we all admire takes effort and honesty.
From day one, I never accepted payment until my product was ready to ship.
That way my client would never be out his hard earned cash.

Yes I have made many things that were never paid for, however that is a small price to pay to keep a happy client.

Thank you again for your kind words and continuing support.

I am sure that if you started an auction they would sell here and unlike ebay it is free.
I have made many custom tools in the past and the customer has changed their minds or not liked my first attempt, it does not bother me because I just add the unwanted item to my stock for the next event and someone else buys it and unless the customer does not want me to have another go I will happily make more.
for every tool there is a customer

That's a good idea Mr. Iron.
I have tools several years old, that were custom designed.

If "For every tool there is a customer", perhaps there's hope.

Look for some different stuff on the classifides.

Hal

PS: Reason they are still on the shelf... I thought some day the member would need them.

maybe they will and will be reminded when they see them for sale, and if not you cannot be expected to hold such items forever.
if a customer does not reply to messages concerning a custom item after a couple of months I start taking it to events with my other stock.
if they had some problem I will happily remake the item maybe even better than the first
