These probably haven't been worn in combat for years. They are mild steel, four lame articulated knee cops made for a guy or gal with a larger than average knee. They are thick and sturdy and articulate well. If you have skinny knees don't buy them.

They are coated with black spray paint on the inside to block rusting. Five minutes on a polishing wheel and they will look freaking awesome.

There is a buckle strap on each of em but it's a rapid rivet and can be removed with ease.
