Ok the boss mka my better half has affirmed. If I get her a shirt of scale mail she will authorize for combat archery. If anyone has any links or knows where I can get the scales your help would be greatly appreciated.

If your interested in leather. I can put you in contact with something that will have two different dies to cut them coming in this week. 2X3 inch fish scale or tombstone.
