Since I've been screwed by multiple customers this month I am offering a sale for the next week on stock helms. Hoping to avoid giving up my shop or apartment, and considering getting out of this business entirely.

Noooo !!! You can't get out !!!

Is it only the 5 helms I see currently on the "in stock" page, or are there more up for consideration? Just curious, they all seem to be out my price range, unfortunately.

That's everything available right now. I do have one large coppergate nearing completion, but I'm afraid it will probably be in the $600 range. Once I get clear of Lilies I'll be ramping up for Pennsic & much more stuff will be hitting the shelf.

I can take paypal on the helms for a 3% surcharge.

For the money they make on my money you'd think they'd at least send a x-mas card or something.

Are you considering any custom orders? I was hoping to combine the traits of a couple of different helms on your website. I was looking at Phrygian Spangen c with narrower occulars so that it would be barless like Phrygian Spangen j. I could pay you half up front right away. Oh, and we have friends in common that can vouch for me that I won't screw you like the bastiches that are making you contemplate giving up your beautiful art if that helps.

If you're open to custom, I'll throw 50% down, Balance on completion. Long as we can keep the timeframe within a year.

Bump... because a Knotwolf helm is a terrible thing to waste....

Yup, I cast all my stuff here at my shop in Lawrence KS. My foundry furnace is built from an old Budweiser keg. On occasion I also get to use some of the fine bronzes available from Raymonds Quiet Press & The Crafty Celts.
