I cant go with Hjalmr his work looks too rough I am a 14th century SCA fighter in house Gryffinclaw and we wear nice looking gear not rough looking gear

It takes very minimal cleanup to get his helms looking nice. A little elbow grease goes a long way when you are on a cheap budget.

16g is Society Marshal Minimum.
It is not, however, conducive to a long life.

I'm assuming by "No mild steel" he is trying to avoid hot roll that is easier to work, and wants cold roll, which has been work hardened at the mill ahead of time. Kind of a moot point if the armourer anneals before, or during work, but hey.. it's only more expensive.

For the qualities you require.. you should go to Icefalcon.
