These legs were made by me a couple years back. They cover from the ankle to 6-8" above the knee, depending on your size. As the photo shows they are about 25" total length. I made them to fit myself, I am 5'11'' 180 lbs.

The greaves and thigh are made from saddle skirting. The knee is made from sole bend. The knee is lined with a heavy black suede, and is padded underneath with 1/2" EVAlite closed cell foam. The 3 sections are attached to each other by the heavy suede. They lace up the back through XL brass grommets.

I free-tooled wings up the outer side of each greave, they are nearly identical.

These are very comfortable to wear, and they make running in armor a breeze! They have years of good protection left in them.

Thank you for your compliment, the hermetic wings really add a great touch to greaves and I feel like I run just a little faster with them on there

The legs lace up the back. I have been using white buffed leather thong that I cut from scraps. They are a good median of strength, flexibility and comfort. I will gladly send some of this thong out with the legs, enough to wear and some spare.

I'm not the best person to ask, but hopefully someone on here could chime in. They would work well as hidden legs under pants, but it would be a shame to cover up the wings.
