Late period plate body harness PRICE DROP AGAIN

Getting into my forties and lightening up my kit to make up for it. Selling off some really nice late period stainless steel plate armor. Shipping is from 32707, Orlando FL. I can not take Paypal (got scammed by an eBay buyer for a very expensive item that I refuse to refund on principle), so money orders or checks (held for clearing) are my terms.

I would, but I'm 5' 10.5" and 190 lbs. And...my wife would go "WHAT are you thinking?!?!? You fight ONCE every FOUR months, and have TWO full suits and FIVE helmets...WHAT do you need another suit for?"

The good news is I could probably forge weld the suit to my size based upon the heat coming off from her comments.

Maybe in another couple of years. My son is 5'10" and my wife's side of the family are mostly linebacker types. But he's only 140 lbs right now and just turned 14 years old. I can dream though. Though I bet he wants to be a combat archer with a crossbow.

The trick I use is to bundle an armor purchase with some garb or period shoes for my wife, even if it means holding onto packages from separate vendors and passing them off as part of the same purchase! I find the "ooh, shiny!" factor that the garb puts in her eyes distracts her from the "ooh, SHINY!" in mine.

Funny part is that I only have a couple shots in the full kit, not even including the voiders...



EDIT: Please note that settling into married life and quitting cigarettes has been unkind to my waistline. In this photo, the armor gaps at the side because I'm more of a 38-40 waist these days.

OK I may be reading this wrong but are the legs gone? They are sweet. I really like the breastplate but gotta talk to the wife when she gets home tonite. We'll see what she says......

Yeah, the legs are gone... for a *steal* of a price (Arrakis, ya lucky bastard! If I didnt like the Dune series that much... ). But the body is still available, and I hope that your good lady approves!

I was interested but the thing that scares me away is the size. I have a 44" chest but a 36" waist. You stated you have a 34" waist and in your pics; the side view is not all the way closed, showing a gap with the red gambeson. So it suggests it is even smaller than the 34". I would like to have such armor but without the gap. Unless the 34" waist was a misprint. Ulrich

I've put on thirty pounds since buying it. More of a 38-40 inch waist these days. I should have been clearer that it was made for me at 220, 44/34, but that settling into the married life and quitting cigarettes has been unkind to my waistline. If you are anywhere in the 32-36 range you should be fine.
