Greetings!
Several weeks ago I purchased one of Hal's aardvark hammers. I finally got to put it to use.
It worked GREAT! Took a minute or three to get used to it.
Again.. Hal gets all 5's on the Freiman scale!

I'm a hobbyist armourer and have used Hal's tools for a number of years and found them to be very good plus Hal is amazing to do business with.

Thank you for the kind words Gilebert.
Makes me wonder how I did spangens with out one.
Several people have told me they copied the design and it worked well for them.
The ball is a 1" Ø bearing, the arc is 3/8" x 1" flat bar, the handle is chrome molly 1" Ø DOM tubing and the rubber is a McMaster-Carr handle grip.

Wulfgar, did you get your anti tilt feature on your raising stake to work properly?
Hal

Hi Hal, I haven't had time to play with it but its nothing a little bit of time with an angle grinder won't fix. I know next time to measure more thoroughly. I'm very pleased with the tools.

What did you use it on? When will I get a chance to hit it?
And more importantly, when can I borrow it?

Here is a pic of the helm. I have to attach the brass cross yet... but need to heat blue it first.
